Broker Alert: Third Quarter Individual Plan Rate Changes
Rates for BCBSAZ Individual and Family plans with deductibles of $5,000 or greater and BluePortfolio Plus plans with deductibles of $3,000 or lower will increase on average by 2.9 percent beginning on July 1, 2012. Only Suite C plans are impacted.
Third quarter 2012 premium rates will be effective from July 1 through September 30, 2012. The new rates are available for quoting at azblue.com beginning May 1 and via your Broker Marketing Website, so that you can access rate quotes for July 1 effective dates.
Printed copies of third quarter 2012 rate sheets can be ordered through the Broker Supply Form beginning in mid-June. A PDF file containing the third quarter rate information will also be available on azblue.com in mid-June.
